Just a suggestion, you could send them a PDF file of the images and lock the files. If you have Acrobat, you can decided what features you want to restrict. For example, you can lock the file so that no one can edit it without a password. You can also allow them to print them or if you choose, you can restrict printing as well. There are quite a few options and I would imagine that one of them would help you in this situation.

I have a 2.7ghz G5 and 4 months after buying it i'm now finding it a little sluggish. I've just done an xbench and it on average scores 106 compared to a 2ghz G5 (at 100) !! The finder is having problems changing between windows and I get beachballs randomly with simple tasks. Personally I blame 10.4.2 and perhaps dodgy crucial memory.
I would freshen up your system when 10.4.3 is released, maybe do a clean install. Consider a new graphics card ?
Then If you want to wait for the next best. Wait for an Intel Powermac since graphics cards etc are likely to be better aswell as speedier processors (although I expect most software updates to intel won't be free)

upgrade to 10.4 add some ram and put in a decent size HD
Already planned on getting the ram, thats why I asked if PC133 would work.

That would explain why my Xcode download timed out last night after getting up to ~3GB.

Here's the issue.
I have a few folders on my dock that I click on to view the contents.
For example my documents or downloads folders.
If I delete the contents of the downloads folder for example and then click on the dock folder for it, it still shows all the same content in it's view.
If I go to that folder in Finder it's empty like it should be.
The files are gone it's just that the view doesn't refresh when it's on the Dock.
Only rebooting the system will update the view.
I booted off of the install disk and ran through Permissions and Disk repairs thinking maybe that'd resolve it but it did not.
Has anyone here had the same issue and found a way to resolve it?
It only happens on my one system, not any others.

Contacts, calendar and safari take much longer to load on my touch. The wikipedia search is cool but it takes about 5 seconds for anything I type to come up on the screen

I would love that. I have the original BlackBook right now and love it, the design and color scheme (obviously) is what does it for me. Of course that and Mac OS X :)
But yea, having a higher spec'ed Macbook would be great.

I can't remember if it's JUST iTunes that's affected by this but the problem you're experiencing is due to the fact that instead of the program just reading one cd, and continuing track to track, it's having to read several files. It gets to the end of track 1, and then has to find and load up the track 2 mp3 file. Yes some kind of buffer would seem to be in order.
The ways to get around this have already been mentioned but for the record:
1. Cross-fade (no good for iPod users)
2. Rip the cd, or the tracks that are mixed together, into one mp3/aac (whatever) file. When you insert the cd, highlight the tracks you want joined, then go to advanced->join CD tracks. I do this with some cd's, such as Green Day's American Idiot, and Muse's last album... but most of the time I just put up with it!!

I'm taking a dreaded Document Formatting class for college and what I thought would be the easiest A of my life has become a nightmare. I never realized that Word 2007 for PC was so different from my 2008 version for the Mac.
Here's what I need to do.
Change the line spacing to 1.15. NOT 1.5 which is an option on my Mac. Apparently Word 2007 has this new spacing for it's default and I keep bombing each assignment cause I didn't notice the difference. I REFUSE TO GO TO CAMPUS AND USE THEIR PC's. I will not admit defeat, but I will ask for your help.

You can use multiple iPhoto libraries. Search Apple support how to. You could then have just last 12 months in 1 library to use for now

Looks like the mall opens at 10AM on the natick collection website. Anyone plan on buying from this store. What's your plan? I assume the mall doors open earlier.

Same thing is happening at my mall. The doors at my mall will open early while all stores will be closed except for AT&T. I would call the Natick Collections main office and ask them for further details.
