Have to agree with everyone here. Bought ram to max out my dual 533, my dual 1.8 and this dual amd x2 here. Customer service is great, shipping is quick. Have yet to RMA anything.

I don't really know why research is needed for this, unless you don't know Python at all. If that is the case, you don't need to research how to do this in Python, you just need to research Python. Finding code online that does what you need is easy. However, i doubt somewhat seriously that you have a real-world problem requiring this, and you're simply desperate for a solution. Instead this sounds like an academic assignment/exercise/what-have-you.
If that is the case, then you want to learn something, not find the answer. That means you might need to learn:
What a palindrome is (you probably already know this)
How to write a loop in Python
How to manipulate numbers using Python (including exponentiation and division, perhaps taking logarithms)
OR
How to manipulate strings using Python (including getting a substring, string equality, or character equality and getting characters)
As an academic exercise i would try to write both approaches... treating the number as a number and approaching this with math and treating the number with a string and dealing with it that way.
I'm confident that you can google your way to what a palindrome is if you don't know, and the Python documentation is actually quite good:

Good luck. As you progress feel free to post code here telling us what you've tried, what the current errors are (or erroneous results), what you expect to happen, etc. We'll be glad to help you work it out, but it's better for everyone if we don't give you the answer.

Seriously! I was the only person at the AT&T store the evening of the iPhone launch that wasn't buying one, and there were about 40 people. Couple people thought I was nuts (only waited about an hour), but I was there for the :apple: experience!

I have an original iPad which is jail broken and has displayout installed. I picked up the new HDMI adapter from the Apple store and every app mirrors perfectly except for Netflix. With Netflix I get a red Netflix screen on my TV, however, the video only plays on the iPad.
All other applications including Air Video, ABC player, and Videos installed through iTunes play on both screens.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

when snow leopard came out apple issued a coupon to people who bought a mac i think it was 2 months prior to release to upgrade for $10 but even that was generous.

I just tried both suggestions... still works fine on PC's IE & Firefox and Mac's Safari, but not Mac's IE or Firefox. I have been googling and get nothing but crap. Any other suggestions?

When I look at the depreciation of MBP, it is much worse than a MP. For example, 2008 models of MP have depreciated by about ~50%, while MBP have depreciated ~75% for similar price starting price point of the computers.

The late 2008 models run with Core 2 Duos, right? I don't think Core 2 Duos use DD3. They use DDR2, which would mean that you wouldn't be able to use it in your old MBP. Just look under "About this Mac" and it should say what memory it uses.

I just installed a brand new hard drive into my 2009 mini and I am trying to install Snow Leopard. I don't want any of the files from the old HD. The install of the hd into the mini went fine (or so it appears) but when I try to install SL on the new hard drive it gets stuck at the window which asks which drive I want to install to. I never get an option for a drive so something is wrong. Any ideas?

Since I got it so cheap, I want to upgrade the hell out of it and use it as my primary machine (age of it be damned). I want to expand the RAM fully to 16 GB, put a fast 2 GB HDD in, and get the best possible Video card available.
Good for you! Glad to hear another PPC admirer is willing to keep his Mac going even when the nay-sayers shoot your idea down. My 1.25ghz iMac G4 is my primary desktop at home, and my 800mhz one is my primary office desktop. I have to say, 9 out of 10 people that come in compliment my iMac. :) Your Powermac would likely receive equal compliments from me.
2. What is everyone's opinion to the possibility that after I get this thing where I want it, Apple will drop support for Leopard and I will no longer be able to sync my iPhone, iPad, or iPods to it. I of course, Plan to keep my Intel Macs running on the other end of the room (along with my "necessary" PC) but since I sit in THIS chair in my office most of the time, it would be nice to do everything from right here...
I can't answer your first question, but I have to say that this will likely come sooner than later. Within the next 2 years, I'd guess. Apple has a tendency to focus on 2 Operating Systems at a time - the current, and the most recent. Tiger is just about dead to them after a very long and happy life - longer than any Mac OS before it I'd say.
Since Leopard is the last string that ties PPC users have to the most recent Apple tech they can get their hands on, I'd say Apple would support it longer than Tiger, but not much longer than they already have. The iPhone 4 and iPad 2 both support 10.5.8, which surprised me - to my pleasure - and I'd guess the next round of iPods, the iPhone 5, and the iPad 3 would support 10.5, but my guess is that'll be it.
My iPhone 4 happily syncs with my iMac at home, and it's entirely convenient that my old desktop is my media hub, keeping stuff off my laptops, but the convenience won't be a measure when 10.5 doesn't support my iPhone. I'll always have an iPhone, and I'll keep my iMac G4 going as long as I can. When they drop support for 10.5, worst case, I'll have to migrate all my media to my MacBook - even though everything in one place (even backed up) isn't my ideal safety scenario.

Neither is what I would call GPU-intensive. As a matter of fact GarageBand '11 runs perfectly happilly on my iMac 1.83 Core Duo with a ATI X1600, and my MacBook White with a Intel X3100 - neither of which is remotely powerful compared to the GPU in my 11" Air. The situation is the same with Logic Pro, however the big downside with an Air is the lack of FireWire. If it fits in your workflow then a MBA w 4/8GB RAM should handle GarageBand/Logic Express/Logic Pro just fine (Heck my low-end 11"/1.4/2GB MBA handles Final Cut Pro for basic editing and even Motion 4 at a pinch, so Graphics definitely shouldn't be an issue).

I had been told that the MBA 13'' with 4GB of RAM studdered a bit when creating music on Garage Band '11 (input being an electrical guitar). my advice is......walk away.
i myself got ripped off by one of these deals.....selling a powerbook+23" cinema display.
don't make this mistake.
