Actually forgot to mention that two weeks back there was LUD's on my and my spouse case. But so far no LUD on my kid's case. So I doubt my kid's application has seperated from ours.
Any other comments, guys?
BTW, taking an info pass, is it mandatory that our dates should be current?

The President has started revealing his plans on immigration for the next year. It sounds like he's planning on trying a do-over with Congress and attempting again to get a comprehensive immigration bill passed. He'll make the case for this in his State of the Union Address. I'm happy the President is still interested in working for change, I sincerely hope he is not making passing a reform bill his SOLE strategy. I'm reminded of Presidents in the past who regularly spoke in favor of something, but you just knew they didn't really care and were just trying to appease...

As a part of immigrationVoice's efforts, we will need atleast some kind of media coverage to educate others of our problems, and of our efforts.
We have started our work on this.
On that note, if you guys have any popular regional/local print/TV/radio media, any names/email/contact, please post it on this thread.
if you have a phone num/email and not comfortable posting on a public forum, pls send a note to info@immigrationvoice.org with a subject title "Media" and it will go to the apporpriate people.

First off, the chances of you being denied an H1 renewal are zero to none unless ofcourse you or your attorney made a error on your application (incorrect fees etc).
For argument purposes, if your H1 is denied you could always fall back on your EAD. Denial of H1 does not invalidate your I-485 as long as your "JOB" is still present. Now your entire status is dependent on your AOS application. If you AOS (485) is denied you would have to leave the country.
If your H1 is renewed, you can stay in the US for the entire period of its validity even if your I-485 application is rejected/denied.
As always, take all advice given on a message board with a grain of salt and consult an attorney.

Since you have Valid H1b, using H1b is better option. EAD � you need to renew it every year. If you are in EAD, then you have to have AP (if you want to travel abroad) which also you need to renew every year.
If anything goes wrong in your I485 (just in case) you will be in trouble, but that is not the case if you are in H1B. I am not saying EAD is bad, but comparatively Valid H1b is a better option.
If your previous employer won't revoke I140, then no issues, even revoking of approved I140 by your previous employer will not have any effect as you have completed 180 days after filing your I485.

Well they could hurry up and approve my eb1-c that's been pending for 8 months despite them saying 4 is their target! I can't see how they can say not enough applications when they are way off their targets for poor souls like me. I've put in an SR so we'll see what happens

I want to apply for my 3 yrs H extension using preminum processing. Can i do that by just using the email confirmation from USCIS that I-140 petition was approved? My 1-140 petition was approved in Dec,2006 and still have not recived my approval notice.

If I recall correctly, you need to send a copy of approved i140 to request 3 years extension.

LUD means basically nothing.
I got FP done, got EAD and got Ap by October 2007. I have 3 LUDs each on mine and my wife's 485 since 01/04/2008.I just called TSC and the IO said no change in the case.

Labor as such is not for a specific person (although you have to provide individual details for filing it), it is essentially for justifying a position within the company, so it's more company related than individual. Hence, USCIS allows transfers of labors as it is not bound to the individual for whom it was applied.
